Job summary

Newmarket Volvo is seeking a Service Porter to support daily service operations by greeting guests, inspecting vehicles, shuttling customers, and keeping the service drive area neat and efficient. You will help manage tire inventory and ensure vehicles are clean and organized throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, lower, hold, and carry light to heavy loads.
• Valid G driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work in a team with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.
• Loves a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn the automotive business and grow within the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Welcome every customer promptly, warmly, and politely.
• Walk around each customer’s vehicle to spot needed work.
• Drive customers to and from their destinations while their vehicle is serviced.
• Run vehicles through the carwash.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns with sincere care.
• Keep the service drive area tidy and organized.
• Help manage tire inventory by moving tires to storage.
• Keep vehicles and lot clean and well maintained.
• Inspect vehicles for damage or blemishes.
• Park and organize vehicles to maximize lot space.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and on time.
• Additional duties as assigned.
