Job summary

Summit GM in Fort McMurray, Alberta, part of the Kaizen Automotive Group, seeks a Service Porter to support the service department. You will move, organize, and maintain vehicles safely while assisting the service team to ensure a smooth flow and excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment. Valid driver's license and ability to drive automatic/manual are required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in automotive, dealership, or customer-facing environment is an asset.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the service drive and assist with vehicle intake as needed.
• Move customer vehicles to designated parking areas, service bays, or wash stations safely.
• Retrieve vehicles for customer pickup and ensure they are clean and ready for delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking lots, and dealership grounds.
• Assist technicians and service advisors with vehicle staging and shop flow.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections such as checking fuel levels, tire condition, and exterior condition.
• Support shuttle service operations when required.
• Help manage dealership loaner or rental vehicles, including inspecting for damage and refueling.
• Follow all dealership, OEM, and safety guidelines when handling vehicles and operating equipment.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a busy service environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
