Job summary

Newmarket Volvo is seeking a reliable, hands-on Assistant to support the Used Car Manager in keeping the pre-owned department running smoothly. You will manage inventory, photograph vehicles, and keep online listings up to date while ensuring accuracy of pricing and details.

The role requires a valid Ontario G license, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Automotive experience is a plus, but not required, and OT may be available.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario G driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Automotive industry experience is an asset but not required.
• Strong initiative, high energy, and a positive attitude.
• Process driven, with excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Used Car Sales Manager with used car and wholesale inventory.
• Receive, stock in, and log used vehicles into the inventory system.
• Capture quality interior and exterior photos of vehicles.
• Upload photos and vehicle details to create and update online listings.
• Monitor active listings daily to ensure they are live and pricing/details are accurate.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and blemishes.
• Keep vehicles and the lot clean and presentable.
• Complete all documentation accurately and on time.
• Other duties as assigned.
