Job summary

HUB International in Canada is seeking an Auto Retention Associate to advise new and existing clients by phone on protecting assets through auto insurance. You will build relationships and offer ICBC and private insurance solutions while meeting performance targets.

The role requires at least 1 year auto insurance experience, high school or equivalent, Level 1 Insurance License, strong communication, and comfort with computer systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of auto insurance experience is required.
• Strong conversation skills, detail oriented and computer systems proficiency.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Level 1 Insurance License required.
• Customer service and or call center experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients, colleagues and leaders to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
• Provide auto insurance services including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more.
• Offer ICBC and private insurance products over the phone.
• Document all client conversations to minimize errors and future issues.
• Place outbound calls to enhance retention and drive call-to-sale conversions.
• Manage inbound call volume through servicing calls efficiently.
• Upsell and cross-sell other insurance products from our other departments.
• Consistently meet sales targets and telephone metrics.
• Receive and process payments per company policy.
• Use ICBC Policy Centre, BMS EPIC and other software solutions.
• Perform administrative duties such as preparing documents, filing.
