Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Auto Retention Associate in Canada to advise clients by phone on auto insurance, renewals, transfers and payments. You will build relationships and offer ICBC and private products to meet targets.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year auto insurance experience, good communication, and a high school diploma or Level 1 Insurance License. Base + commission potential is offered.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients to deliver a best-in-class experience.
• Handle auto insurance services including renewals, plate changes, transfers, cancellations and payments.
• Suggest ICBC and private insurance products over the phone.
• Document conversations to minimize errors and future issues.
• Place outbound calls to drive retention and sales performance.
• Manage inbound calls with efficient servicing and cross-sell where appropriate.

The Opportunity!

As the Auto Retention Associate working in one of our innovative Connect Centers, you are responsible for advising new and existing clients over the phone on how to best protect their assets when it comes to automobile insurance. Building relationships and offering solutions using a diverse selection of insurance products while achieving performance targets.

What you will bring to our team

• Minimum of 1 year of auto insurance experience is required
• Strong conversation skills, detail oriented and computer systems proficiency
• High school education or equivalent Level 1 Insurance License required
• Customer service and or call center experience an asset

A day in the life

• Build relationships with clients, colleagues and leaders so you can deliver a best-in-class client experience
• Provide a wide variety of auto insurance services including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more
• Creatively offer a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products over the phone
• Document all client conversations to minimize errors and future issues
• Place outbound calls to enhance retention, focus on call to sale conversion
• Manage inbound call volume through servicing calls in an efficient manner
• Upsell and cross-sell other insurance products from our other departments
• Consistently meet sales targets and telephone metrics
• Receiving and processing payments in accordance with company policy
• Using ICBC Policy Centre, our BMS EPIC and multiple other software solutions
• Administrative duties, such as preparing documents, filing

Salary Expectations

Salary Expectations – This role offers a base salary of $41,600 to $45,000. While there is no cap on earnings, potential total annual earnings, including commissions, range from $60,000–$75,000, and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
