Job summary

HUB International in Kamloops is seeking an Auto Retention Associate to advise clients over the phone on auto insurance and protect assets. You will build relationships, renewals, transfers, and offer ICBC and private products with a focus on meeting targets.

The role demands at least 1 year in auto insurance, a Level 1 license, strong communication, and good computer skills. Training and licensing support are provided; base salary plus commissions are possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of auto insurance experience required.
• Strong conversation skills, detail oriented and computer systems proficiency.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Level 1 Insurance License required.
• Customer service and/or call center experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients, colleagues and leaders to deliver a best-in-class client experience.
• Provide a wide variety of auto insurance services including renewals, transfers, cancellations and payments.
• Offer ICBC and private insurance products over the phone.
• Document all client conversations to minimize errors and issues.
• Place outbound calls to enhance retention and drive sales.
• Manage inbound calls efficiently and upsell other products.
• Meet sales targets and telephone metrics.
• Process payments in line with company policy.
• Utilize ICBC Policy Centre, BMS EPIC and other software solutions.
• Handle administrative duties such as filing.

The Opportunity!

As the Auto Retention Associate working in one of our innovative Connect Centers, you are responsible for advising new and existing clients over the phone on how to best protect their assets when it comes to automobile insurance. Building relationships and offering solutions using a diverse selection of insurance products while achieving performance targets.

What You Will Bring To Our Team –

• Minimum of 1 year of auto insurance experience is required
• Strong conversation skills, detail oriented and computer systems proficiency

A day in the life -

• Build relationships with clients, colleagues and leaders so you can deliver a best-in-class client experience
• Provide a wide variety of auto insurance services including renewals, new plates, transfers, cancellations, debt payments and more
• Creatively offer a diverse selection of ICBC and private insurance products over the phone
• Document all client conversations to minimize errors and future issues
• Place outbound calls to enhance retention, focus on call to sale conversion
• Manage inbound call volume through servicing calls in an efficient manner
• Upsell and cross-sell other insurance products from our other departments
• Consistently meet sales targets and telephone metrics
• Receiving and processing payments in accordance with company policy
• Using ICBC Policy Centre, our BMS EPIC and multiple other software solutions
• Administrative duties, such as preparing documents, filing

Salary Expectations –

This role offers a base salary of $41,600 to $45,000. While there is no cap on earnings, potential total annual earnings, including commissions, range from $60,000-75,000, and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
