Job summary

Navacord North Vancouver is seeking an Assistant Manager, Auto Insurance to support branch operations, staff scheduling, and training while partnering with the Branch Manager to develop leadership and growth. This on-site role involves handling client requests, coordinating with dealership partners, and driving performance through coaching and effective team management.

Occasional travel to regional offices may be required, with a salary range of $65,000–$75,000 per year reflecting experience

Qualifications

• Level 1 or 2 BC General Insurance license is required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Mobile Road Advisor.
• Leadership or management experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Sales-focused with ability to motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Address branch client requests and complaints promptly with proper investigation and solutions.
• Assist in drafting and adjusting monthly shift schedules based on seasonality and staffing needs.
• Manage real-time shift coverage, overtime approvals, and front-counter service during peak hours.
• Coordinate with dealership partners on service levels and quality as needed.
• Collaborate with other managers on ad-hoc projects aligned with Auto Insurance goals.
• Support recruitment and training efforts and ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
