You will mentor staff, implement performance feedback, and contribute to hiring efforts while ensuring adherence to processes and policies.

The role requires 3–5 years of claims experience and 1–2 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of claims experience (Auto)
• 1–2 years supervisory experience
• Strong organizational, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills
• University degree or relevant two-year college diploma with CIP designation
• Professional, friendly in all interactions with customers and coworkers
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to change
• Strong customer interaction focus and proven performance-management experience
• Natural coach and mentor
• Fluent English and French is an asset

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical direction to the team of Auto Claims Representatives.
• Provide guidance, on‑job training, technical instructions, and leadership related to performance and processes.
• Conduct audits by reviewing claims files and delivering effective feedback.
• Foster staff development through selection, evaluations, and training opportunities.
• Coach and give performance feedback by reviewing reports and developing action plans.
• Manage expenses and the annual operating budget for the team.
• Initiate interviews for vacancies and recommend new hires.
