Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Edmonton to perform structural and non-structural repairs, disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles. You will work with the team to meet repair facility KPIs and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include repairing body panels, wiring and components, and using frame equipment. Applicants should have post-secondary auto body training, welding skills (MIG/TIG), and a valid driver’s license; Red Seal/310B is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Post-Secondary Auto Body Repair Program.
• Welding experience (MIG/TIG) or equivalent technical training.
• I-Car Certification is a plus or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle.
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle.
• Use of frame equipment.
• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, supporting KPIs.
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities.
