Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass, part of The Boyd Group, seeks an Auto Body Technician to perform structural and non-structural vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and maintain high quality standards in a multi-site environment across Canada.

Minimum 3 years of experience and MIG/TIG welding proficiency are required, with Red Seal preferred and I-Car Gold Class progress encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience.
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding).
• Red Seal is preferred.
• I-Car Registered (working towards Gold Class certification).

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
• Vehicle disassembly and reassembly.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle.
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle.
• Use of frame equipment.
• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity, which directly contributes to KPI’s (Sales/ CP/ EBITA/ BHPD/ NPS).
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance.
