Advantage Collision Prince Albert Inc. in Prince Albert, SK, is seeking an experienced Auto Body Shop Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Prince Albert location. You will drive production, scheduling and shop workflow while coordinating with insurers and partners to keep repairs moving efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a strong collision repair background, demonstrated leadership, and a hands-on approach. This is a full-time, permanent role with ongoing training and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in the collision repair industry with strong production/workflow understanding.
• Reading and interpreting collision repair estimates.
• Familiarity with supplements and insurance repair processes.

• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: manage production, scheduling, workflow and shop capacity.
• Keep repairs moving: conduct daily production meetings, monitor work in progress, coordinate technicians, painters, parts and staff.
• Manage delivery expectations: track repair progress and completion dates, address delays.
• Review Mitchell estimates and prepare supplements as required.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, adjusters and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Monitor shop performance: track productivity, quality, cycle time, profitability.
• Maintain repair standards: ensure OEM procedures and insurer requirements.
• Support customers: resolve questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Develop the team: coach employees and assist with hiring, training, performance management.
• Maintain a safe, organized facility: promote health and safety and maintain equipment.

Auto Body Shop Manager

About the Job

Advantage Collision is looking for an experienced, hands-on Auto Body Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Prince Albert location.

We are a Saskatchewan family-owned collision repair business serving customers since 1988. With an established team in place, we’re looking for someone who knows the industry, can keep production moving, and provides clear, dependable leadership.

Great managers don’t all follow the same career path. You may already manage a collision repair facility, work as a production manager or estimator, or have a strong background in collision repair parts or administration. You may also be an experienced journeyman technician looking to move away from the physical demands of the trade and bring your knowledge into management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations: Manage production, scheduling, workflow and shop capacity.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in the collision repair industry, with a strong understanding of production and workflow.
• The ability to read and work with collision repair estimates.
• An understanding of supplements and insurance repair processes.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Clear communication with employees, customers, insurers and suppliers.
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy shop.
• Leadership ability and a commitment to supporting and developing employees.
• A valid driver’s licence.

Mitchell estimating experience is preferred. I-CAR, OEM or other industry training is an asset.

Previous management experience is an asset, but we also welcome experienced collision repair professionals who are ready to take their first step into management.
