Job summary

Capital Automotive Group in Regina is seeking a skilled Repair Planner/Collision Estimator to join a high-volume SGI-accredited shop. You will lead detailed teardowns, develop accurate repair plans, and coordinate with parts and customers throughout the claims process.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in collision estimating, proficiency with Mitchell/Audatex/CCC ONE, and a clean driving record. Growth opportunities exist across our Western Canadian network, with strong training and support.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years experience as Collision Estimator or Repair Planner in a body shop environment (SGI-accredited facility experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex, CCC ONE) and SGI claim processing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed vehicle teardowns and blueprinting with body technicians to identify all damage.
• Prepare accurate repair plans and cost estimates per OEM and SGI specs using industry software.
• Process insurance claims, manage supplement requests and photo documentation.
• Coordinate with parts to ensure correct OEM parts and timely deliveries.
• Perform pre- and post-repair checks to ensure alignment and vehicle operation.

You’ll get ongoing training and opportunities to grow your career across our Western Canadian network.Family First: A maternity leave top-up program and paid bereavement time so you can prioritize what matters most.Key Responsibilities:Execute detailed vehicle teardowns and blueprinting alongside body technicians to identify all primary, secondary, and hidden damage.Prepare accurate repair plans and cost estimates using Mitchell, Audatex, or CCC ONE software in strict accordance with OEM guidelines and SGI specifications.Process insurance claims, prepare direct-estimating files, and submit supplement requests and photo documentation directly through SGI e-Claims platforms.Serve as the main point of contact for customers, walking them through the Saskatchewan claims process, detailing repair plans, and providing regular updates.Coordinate with the parts department to ensure accurate OEM parts ordering, track deliveries, and keep production moving without unnecessary delays.Align repair plans with modern vehicle requirements, including structural calibrations and ADAS scanning procedures.Perform pre-repair check-ins and rigorous final quality inspections to ensure full dimensional accuracy and proper vehicle operation upon delivery.Maintain full compliance with Trade Safety Awareness guidelines and internal quality standards across all repair operations.Qualifications:Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Collision Estimator or Repair Planner in a body shop environment (SGI-accredited facility experience preferred).Solid working knowledge of estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex, CCC ONE) and SGI claim processing procedures.Deep understanding of modern vehicle construction, structural repair, refinishing, and ADAS calibration standards.Unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record.
