Job summary

Kerry’s Place Autism Services is seeking an Autism Consultant to provide autism-based services, support families, and navigate resources. You will engage with diverse clients, communities, and internal teams to implement goals and share evidence-informed strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and community education, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Prior ASD experience and post-secondary education in human services are required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Human / Social Services.
• Minimum 1 year experience with ASD in community settings.
• Experience working with families and community agencies.
• Knowledge of relevant Ontario legislation and practice.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and client data systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow established Community Services practices and support Kerry’s Place mission.
• Fulfill Autism Consultant responsibilities across programs.
• Consult with and maintain relationships with supported persons, families, agencies, and communities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support resource navigation and goals.
• Provide strategies and resources aligned with best practices in the sector.
• Document and maintain client files electronically and securely.
• Support education/training activities and community outreach.
