Job summary

ErinoakKids Center for Treatment and Development in Brampton is seeking a Program Support Facilitator to join our in-centre teams. The role blends behavioural intervention with respite services, supporting children and young adults with autism and/or complex medical needs across multiple ErinoakKids services.

You will help clients participate in structured activities, develop social and communication skills, and support daily living tasks in a client-centred, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Must have or be working towards CYW/DSW/SSW/PSW/ABS or equivalent education.
• Experience with children/young adults with autism or developmental needs.
• Experience with challenging behaviors and medical needs.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of behavioural intervention strategies for young children with autism.
• Assist with activities of daily living (care, feeding, mobility).
• Plan, implement, and evaluate leisure activities for clients.
• Provide a safe, engaging environment to promote social and communication development.
• Offer care and supervision in therapeutic and respite settings.
• Operate transfer and mobility equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure consistent care.
• Assist with meals per care plans.
• Organize laundry for respite clients.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to progress reports.
• Aid Clinical Therapists with data collection and entry.
