Job summary

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking an Attendant, Production I, to join our afternoons shift on the ATS or GMC2 lines. You will handle, form, and place product into packaging materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Wages start at $24.30/hour with two raises to $25.60/hour in the first year. Two wage increases are planned in the first year, with benefits including group coverage, retirement plan, telemedicine, employee share ownership, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Food/dairy/manufacturing experience an asset.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to multi-task.
• Team player, but can also work independently.
• Ability to work on foot for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Process cheese into required packaging while ensuring the line is properly supplied and routine quality checks are performed to meet required product specifications (eg: weight, dimension).
• Accurate completion of all required documents and sanitation procedures.
• Setup, takedown and sanitation of machines when required throughout the day.
• Meet or exceed daily production efficiency requirements provided by Supervisor or Production Manager.

Overview of the Role

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking an Attendant, Production I, for existing opportunities within our organization. Under the responsibility of the Manager, Production, the incumbent will be responsible for handling, forming, and placing product into packaging material on a production assembly line, while ensuring top quality and safety throughout the production process.

Positions

Positions: 2 Line/Department: ATS or GMC2 lines Schedule: Afternoons (3:00pm to 1:00am), C Shift - 3 week rotation Wk1: Monday to Thursday Wk2: Wednesday to Saturday Wk3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday Wage: $24.30/hour There are 2 wage increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of $25.60/hour.

How you will make contributions that matter
