Saputo, Inc. is a leading dairy processor with operations across Canada and beyond. We are seeking a Part Time Warehouse Attendant to support picking, restocking, ordering, receiving and shipping, while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will perform warehouse tasks, maintain housekeeping, and follow SOPs to ensure high-quality products reach customers. This role offers part-time hours, competitive pay, and benefits in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is required or willing to obtain.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented with a proactive work style.
• Willingness to work all shifts (Days/Nights, 8 or 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving, inventory, and other warehouse duties as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
• Follow all warehouse SOPs and GMPs to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse, and ensure safe working conditions.
• Transport finished products and equipment safely, using powered equipment when applicable.
• Ship/receive loads and consolidate stock to optimize warehouse operations.

Overview of the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Part Time Warehouse Attendant is responsible for picking and restocking product, ordering, receiving and shipping loads, cleaning and other duties in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Will perform all warehouse functions as directed by the warehouse supervisor which will include shipping, receiving, inventory and various other duties as required.
• Responsible to follow all warehouse SOP’s.
• Will maintain proper housekeeping of the warehouse facility and ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and GMPs to ensure the highest quality product possible.
• Safely transport finished products and equipment manually or by using powered equipment.
• Ship and receive loads, organize and consolidate stock.
• Ensure safe conditions exist always within the work environment Comply with Health & Safety, HACCP, and company policies Report quality, food safety, health and safety incidents (within or beyond their control) to appropriate departments as necessary.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Previous Material Handling experience is an asset
• Will hold, or be prepared to complete, forklift operator certification.
• Working knowledge of computers
• Demonstrate communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Must be self-motivated, results oriented and work well with minimal supervision.
• Strong team orientation.
• Must be available to work all shifts (Days and Nights - 8 or 10 hour)

Salary Range - $26.15 - 27.55
