Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Skilled Worker to support the setup, startup and operation of filling equipment in our Ontario facility. You will report to the Production Supervisor and ensure accurate documentation and clean, compliant work processes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• Mechanically inclined with hands-on problem solving.
• Experience in food or dairy environment preferred.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to multitask in a dynamic setting.
• Strong team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up and operate filling equipment.
• Input and receive data from computer terminal.
• Maintain quality checks on codes, seals and weights.
• Regularly clean the work area and equipment.
• Report mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
• Support Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Overview of the role:

Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a Skilled Worker, for an existing opportunity within our organization. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for setup, start up and the operation of filling equipment, accurate and timely completion of documentation, and good housekeeping that meet food safety requirement.

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, 3:15pm – 1:45am Off: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday

Salary: $25.04 Full-time only: There are hourly increases every 6 months up until 24 months of service, with a target rate of $34.12/hour.

• Report mechanical failures and repair minor breakdowns
• Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education
• Mechanically inclined
• Working knowledge in food or dairy environment
• Forklift Licensed preferred
• Basic computer knowledge would be an asset
• Must be a person who can multi-task and enjoys working in a dynamic environment
• A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
• Can easily assume additional responsibility as required
• Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
