Canadian North is seeking a Cargo Attendant in Yellowknife to support cargo and customer service operations. You will follow SOPs, work within a safe culture, and report to the Manager, Cargo & Ramp.

The purpose of a Cargo Attendant is to work within the parameters of a safe working culture while taking direction and guidance from the Coordinator, Cargo Services. The Cargo Attendant will be responsible to promote a high level of customer service while working directly with both internal and external customers. The Cargo Attendant will be responsible to ensure that they follow the companies Standard Operating Procedures without deviation and promote a safe working culture within its group.
Level: As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement.
Pay Rate: Starting at $21.50 per hour, in accordance with the UNIFOR Collective Agreement, or commensurate with experience. Employees are also eligible for a Northern Living Allowance of $10,700.00 per year.

Please note: This job entails irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift work. Shift schedules will be bid in order of seniority. As a result, we cannot provide you with a schedule around your current job, school schedule, activities, etc. You are however able to shift trade with your colleagues- but you are responsible for the shifts that you are scheduled.
