Canadian North is hiring a Ramp Attendant in Ottawa to support ground operations, load/unload aircraft, operate ramp gear, and deliver essential services on the tarmac. You will report to the Ramp Coordinator and work under the UNIFOR Collective Agreement.
The role is available as full-time, part-time, or temporary, with shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass airport access requirements are essential.

As a Ramp Attendant, you will play a key role in supporting safe and efficient ground operations. Under the direction of the Ramp Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ground handling tasks including loading and unloading aircraft, operating company equipment, and delivering essential ground services to aircraft.
Level: As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement.
Pay Rate: Starting at $21.50 per hour in accordance with the UNIFOR Collective Agreement.
Reporting to: Manager, Cargo & Ramp

Please note: This job entails irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift work. Shift schedules will be bid in order of seniority.As a result, we cannot provide you with a schedule around your current job, school schedule, activities, etc. You are however able to shift trade with your colleagues, but you are responsible for the shifts that you are scheduled.Employees will be given a minimum of (7) calendar days to select their shifts and the work schedule will be finalized (14) days prior to the effective date.
