Job summary

Air North Partnership in Old Crow is seeking a part-time Customer Service Agent to support passengers during check-in and ensure safe, efficient handling of baggage and cargo. You will help with payments, boarding, and ramp marshalling, contributing to a safe and positive travel experience.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, physical fitness to perform demanding lifts, and a strong sense of accountability. This position is based in Old Crow and offers local airline benefits.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be physically able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb and lift up to 75 pounds repetitively.
  • Demonstrates accountability, honesty and responsibility in all tasks.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to Air North’s mission and service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary customer service to passengers during check-in.
  • Handle baggage and cargo with safety and efficiency.
  • Answer inquiries in person, by phone or email.
  • Greet and assist passengers at check-in.
  • Marshall aircraft on and off ramp safely and efficiently.
  • Process payments for tickets, cargo or baggage fees.
  • Load and unload baggage and cargo from the aircraft.

Wage: $24.00
Hours of Work: Part-Time (20-34 hours per week)

Role Summary:

This position provides exemplary customer service to passengers during check in and safe, efficient and accurate handling of baggage and cargo. The incumbent must continually ensure the safety of the aircraft, equipment, passengers and fellow teammates.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service is provided at all times
  • Answer inquiries in-person, by telephone or by email
  • Greet, check in and assist passengers
  • Marshall aircraft in and out of the ramp area safely and efficiently
  • Process payments for tickets, cargo or baggage fees
  • Load and unload baggage and cargo on and off the aircraft
Must haves:
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be physically fit (able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb and lift up to 75 pounds repetitively)
  • A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
  • Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada
