Job summary

CAPREIT Apartments is seeking an Associate Property Manager in Toronto to lead leasing efforts, strengthen resident relations, and oversee property operations.

You will coordinate the leasing pipeline, manage payments, handle inquiries, and ensure a high standard of resident satisfaction. The role requires a fast-paced, detail-oriented approach and flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in leasing, property management or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient with MS Office. SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed to meet business requirements.
• Proven ability to address concerns and achieve performance targets.
• Strong problem-solver with effective negotiation skills.
• Detailed-oriented with proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Resident Ambassador: build strong relationships and deliver excellence by addressing concerns to maintain resident satisfaction.
• Leasing Champion: oversee the leasing process from initial inquiry to onboarding of new resident. Proactively monitor vacancies and achieve leasing targets.
• Operations Guru: manage administration of services, collect payments, inspect the property and facilitate resident moves.
