Irving Oil is seeking an Associate IT Support Analyst in New Brunswick, Canada. You will handle first-line technical support for software and hardware, assisting employees across phone, chat, email, and in person.

The role emphasizes first-call resolution, precise documentation, and escalation when needed to keep staff productive. The ideal candidate has 1 year of IT/helpdesk experience, a related degree or diploma, and familiarity with Windows, Office 365, AD, and remote support tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a computer-related program or equivalent IT experience.
• Minimum 1 year prior IT or Helpdesk experience; deskside experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution for software and hardware issues that vary from basic to moderate complexity.
• Provide training and technical assistance on Windows OS, MS Office suite, and Web Browsers
• Troubleshoot root causes and prevent recurrence
• Analyze and resolve requests per SLA and escalate when needed
• Log calls into ITSM tool with clear language
• Provide how-to guidance on business applications
• Follow procedures, guidelines, and policies
• Interact with customers via phone, chat, email and in person
