Job summary

Cast & Crew is hiring an Associate HRBP to sit at the intersection of HR operations and business partnership to keep the people function running smoothly in Canada. This role offers breadth across employee lifecycle, data integrity, and programs that scale with the business.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, report to the VP of People Experience, and help build compliant, efficient processes while supporting a diverse workforce through data-driven HR solutions.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in HR, People Operations, or HR Administration.
• Direct experience in Workday and ability to build reports independently.
• AI tools familiarity and a willingness to integrate them into HR workflows.
• Experience with onboarding, payroll coordination and HR documentation processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple workstreams while handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support HRBP and L&D on performance cycles, engagement surveys, and other People programs
• Maintain employee data integrity in HR systems and run reports
• Collaborate with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate compensation changes and deductions
• Assist in drafting employment letters and onboarding materials; manage e-signature workflows
• Be a go-to resource for HR policy questions and process improvements
• Audit HR practices to stay compliant with applicable laws
• Document and automate HR workflows to scale with the company
