Job summary

CIBC Beaverton is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to deepen client relationships by understanding personal and small business needs and offering simple, personalized financial solutions. You’ll manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and contribute to a superior retail banking experience on-site in a fast-paced banking centre.

You’ll engage clients, grow networks, and refer opportunities to the right partners, while staying flexible to centre hours and travel within a reasonable distance

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients and achieving sales results.
• Accreditation current and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada).
• CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice) is an asset if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Meet clients to understand personal and business priorities, advise on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
• Grow network through outreach and community engagement; connect clients to right partners.
• Refer opportunities to appropriate banking colleagues and collaborate to deepen client relationships.
• Promote and demonstrate mobile banking and other digital tools to clients.
