Royal Bank of Canada in Toronto is seeking an experienced Java developer to design and code applications using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and APIs. You will review and modify coding for large-scale systems, test, and ensure operational efficiency.

Join RBC in a Capital Markets environment where you will contribute to developing APIs, maintaining systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Full-time on-site role in Toronto with a strong emphasis on quality and governance.

Qualificações

• 8+ years designing and coding Java applications with Spring and Hibernate.
• 5+ years reviewing, analyzing, and modifying large-scale systems.
• Experience developing APIs and exposing datasets.
• Ten years maintaining operating efficiency and documenting systems revisions.
• Nice to have: Capital markets experience.

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Provides information on the detailed technical design and development of applications using JAVA, and existing and emerging technology platforms. Applies experience and seasoned knowledge, skills, and practices to perform a variety of assignments.

What will you do?

Designing and coding application programs; performing testing for developed applications.

Reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.

Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

Conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

8+ years of designing and coding application programs; developing Java-based applications, including experience with Spring , Hibernate , Databases.

5+ years of reviewing, analyzing, and modifying programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system.

Experience in developing APIs , implement business logic exposing datasets.

Ten years of ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions.

Ten years of conducting analyses of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.

Nice to have:

Experience with Capital markets will be a big plus.
