SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking an Accounting Supervisor in Niagara Falls, ON. You will lead a small finance team, oversee day-to-day accounting, and partner with operational and corporate stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and strong controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Strong month-end accounting and financial reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Detail-oriented and process-driven.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or retail is advantageous.
• BI/reporting tools exposure such as Power BI is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, reconciliations, and cash controls.
• Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Monitor financial performance, labour costs, departmental spending, and operational trends.
• Perform revenue and cost reconciliations across multiple business areas.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Coordinate audit requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
• Partner with department leaders to improve financial performance and accountability.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and reporting enhancements.
• Assist with financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives.

• A detail‑oriented and process‑driven approach
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience would be considered an asset
• Experience within hospitality, retail, food & beverage, or other operationally focused environments would be advantageous
• Exposure to business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI would be beneficial
