We’re searching for a Senior Development Coordinator (formally titled Associate Development Manager ) to play a key role in our land and planning team. Reporting to the Development Manager, you'll be at the core of project execution — from supporting zoning and permit applications, to coordinating consultants and providing legal and planning research that drives smart, on-time community development.

What You’ll Do
Support and manage municipal approvals for Official Plan Amendments, Zoning Bylaw Amendments, Site Plan Applications, Subdivisions, and more
Coordinate and submit building permits and city-related clearances for residential communities
Assist in reviewing and managing consultant contracts, legal documents, and drawing packages
Monitor planning policy changes, prepare research briefs, and assist with strategy to mitigate development risk
Conduct site visits and preliminary site investigations with a zoning and planning lens
Track project timelines, help manage budgets, and review consultant invoices
Be the engine behind our permit and development process — ensuring no ball is ever dropped
Requirements
Degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate Development, or a related field
4+ years of hands-on experience in residential land development (low-rise preferred)
A working knowledge of planning processes and municipal policies
Strong comfort navigating zoning bylaws, site plans, and development charges
Top-tier organizational skills and an ability to keep multiple projects on track
Clear, confident communicator – comfortable working with consultants, lawyers, and internal stakeholders
Bonus Points if You...
Have worked directly with municipalities in the GTA
Can draft and interpret legal agreements (with help from in-house counsel)
Are energized by helping get permits and approvals through with speed and accuracy
