Job summary

Dollarama in Canada is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and a well‑organized store. You will help supervise staff and manage shipments, stock shelves, and ensure safety and efficiency.

• Performing cash management and opening/closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: tracking breaks, time, and attendance; participating in hiring and performance management.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager‑on‑duty tasks: making sure daily breaks, time and attendance are properly tracked and participating in the hiring and performance management process.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry.
