Job summary

Dollarama in Saint-Félicien, Canada, seeks an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily retail operations, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain a well‑organized, efficient store environment.

You will assist with store operations and staff, process shipments, stock products, and help with opening/closing duties, safety, and cleanliness. Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking are essential to succeed in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Customer service‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.

• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager‑on‑duty tasks: making sure daily breaks, time and attendance are properly tracked and participating in the hiring and performance management process.
