Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness Canada is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager to help grow our studio footprint through guest engagement, memberships, and event participation. You will act as the right hand to the Studio Manager, building brand awareness, guiding intros, and driving traffic within the local community.

The role focuses on delivering best-in-class member experiences, coordinating with trainers, and maintaining a welcoming studio environment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience and strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to upsell memberships and drive studio traffic.
• Demonstrated teamwork and the ability to work with trainers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and visitors with energy and knowledge.
• Present the Orangetheory concept to potential clients (intros).
• Assist at front desk with calls and member inquiries.
• Generate traffic and leads; give studio tours.
• Sell memberships to support studio growth; follow up with prospects.
• Collaborate with trainers to guide intros through first workout.
• Handle member concerns professionally and resolve issues.
• Participate in marketing and outreach events; keep the studio clean and organized.

In your role as Assistant Studio Manager, you will create brand awareness, fuel the "buzz", and drive traffic in your studio’s community. As the Studio Manager's right hand, you will get to know the ropes as well as know your members’ names, step in when your manager steps out, balance each other’s strengths, and set goals and surpass them.

Here is more of what the position entails:

• Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge
• Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as "intros"
• Working at our front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks
• Generate traffic and leads
• Giving studio tours
• Working hand-in-hand with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout
• Selling memberships to help the studio thrive
• Following up on prospective clients
• Handling members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution
• Participating in marketing and outreach events
• Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized
