Job summary

QE Home is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Canada to support the Store Manager in driving store performance, merchandising, and guest experience. You will lead by example on the floor, coach a diverse team, and uphold QE Home’s commitment to comfort, style and quality.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in retail with supervisory experience, strong communication, and a hands-on leadership style. Sunday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience
• Strong passion for home décor, design and creating beautiful spaces
• Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire a diverse team
• Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience using POS systems
• Strong organizational and operational skills
• Hands-on leadership style

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager in daily operations, including sales, merchandising, team leadership, and guest experience
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members to help them meet performance goals and grow professionally
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with QE Home’s values
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Lead by example on the sales floor, delivering exceptional service and product knowledge
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are consistently met and exceeded
• Help recruit, train, and onboard new team members
• Assist in inventory management and loss prevention initiatives
• Step into the Store Manager role in their absence to ensure operational continuity
