Job summary

QE Home's South Granville store in Vancouver is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales, merchandising, and guest experience. You will lead by example on the floor and coach your team to deliver warm, welcoming service that reflects QE Home's commitment to comfort, style, and quality.

This role requires 2+ years in retail with supervisory experience, strong communication, and hands-on Leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
• A strong passion for home décor, design, and creating beautiful spaces.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and inspire a diverse team.
• Clear and confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience using POS systems and working in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Strong organizational and operational skills.
• A hands-on leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Store Manager in daily operations, including sales, merchandising, team leadership, and guest experience.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support the Store Manager in driving store performance, inspiring your team, and delivering exceptional guest service. Your leadership will play a vital role in creating a warm, welcoming environment that reflects our brand’s commitment to comfort, style, and quality.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Supportingthe Store Manager in daily operations, including sales, merchandising, team leadership, andguestexperience.

The Physical Side of the Role

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbs. to fold, stock and build or display merchandise. In addition, you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.
• Comfortable climbingladders formerchandising and stock.
