Job summary

Urban Barn Boardwalk Store in Kitchener, ON is hiring a Full-time Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager in delivering an exceptional shopping experience and a positive team environment.

You will guide customers in decor decisions, drive sales, coach staff, and oversee merchandising, inventory, and store standards to meet company goals. This role requires leadership, flexibility, and a commitment to customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales Management experience.
• Experience with achieving sales targets.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team of top performers.
• Commitment to a flexible schedule (open availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts).
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Participate in the management of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will collaborate with the Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:
