Job summary

Urban Barn is seeking a Full-time Assistant Store Manager for our Boardwalk store in Kitchener, ON. With over 50 retail locations nationwide, Urban Barn offers high-quality furniture and home décor and a welcoming culture for both customers and employees.

You will work with the Store Manager to create a positive environment for the team and deliver an excellent shopping experience for customers, while driving sales and leading merchandising and operations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Retail Sales Management experience.
• Experience with achieving sales targets.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a team of top performers.
• Commitment to a flexible schedule (Open availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts).
• The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg.

Salary Range: $41,500.00 To $46,500.00 Annually

Participate in the management of an inspiring furniture and home décor store. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will collaborate with the Manager to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers.

Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we are looking for candidates who can work 40 hours per week and are available to work a variety of shifts on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.

What You Will Do:

• Guide customers in their decor choices
