Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, customer service, and achieving sales goals. The role also involves staffing, training, merchandising, cash handling, and safety responsibilities.

Two years of retail experience and at least two years in a supervisory or management role are required, with open availability (days, evenings, weekends). This full-time position offers development opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
