Job summary

Dollarama in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, QC, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, customer satisfaction, and sales goals.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, merchandising, cash management, opening/closing, hiring and performance management, training, and maintaining store safety and cleanliness. You will lead by example and step in as Manager on Duty when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.

• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
