Job summary

Dollarama Assistant Store Manager position responsible for supporting daily retail operations, customer satisfaction, and sales goals. When the Store Manager is absent, you serve as Manager on Duty.

You will lead staff, assist with merchandising and stock, train employees, manage cash, and uphold company policies and safety standards while maintaining visual merchandising and driving performance.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail experience is required.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.

• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
