Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in supervising daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and hitting sales goals. You will stand in as Manager on Duty when needed and guide a team toward excellent service.

In this role, you will assist with staff management, merchandising, training, and performance feedback while upholding company policies. This full-time position offers a competitive benefits package and career development

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability including days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
