The Role:

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our West Edmonton Mall location. Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada, focusing on delivering excellent customer experiences and fostering team growth. You will ensure operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to deliver outstanding customer service through coaching and motivation while driving sales.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by possessing thorough product knowledge.
• Train and develop a team committed to delivering exceptional experiences to our community.
• Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Meet expectations in sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual presentation, and operations.
• Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Stay informed about current and upcoming products and trends to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment.
• Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
• Prioritize company culture, personal growth, and self-awareness.
• Provide consistent, outstanding customer experiences by sharing our products and brand story.

Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
