Fairmont Amman offers travelers and residents of Amman luxury accommodations in 317 spacious guest rooms and suites, including Fairmont Gold, the hotel’s exclusive hotel within a hotel. With a modern, beautiful architectural design and stunning interiors, we make use of the finest wood and marble. Our rooms and hotel interiors combine classic luxury with contemporary design, with each room measuring at least 42 square meters.

Job Description:

1. Manage and assess the performance of the entire security personnel.
2. Train staff on Fire/Evacuation Response Plans, including practical firefighting exercises.
3. Develop and implement all training related to Outside Threat Response Plans.
4. Create and update security policies and procedures; oversee training modules and provide protection for important persons when necessary.
5. Monitor and report incidents within hotel premises; inspect all areas for safety and fire hazards and file safety reports.
6. Conduct internal investigations as needed.
7. Manage security staff schedules and track attendance, ensuring courteous service.
8. Develop and implement Crisis Management Plans.
9. Collaborate with Engineering and Police on Crime Prevention initiatives.
10. Uphold security procedures and policies for outsourced outlets.
11. Ensure security team has up-to-date safety training programs.
12. Maintain all security policies, procedures, and local Standard Operating Procedures.
13. Present security and safety information during colleague orientations.
14. Participate in Health and Safety meetings and be an active member of the Health and Safety Team.
15. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Security Department.
16. Liaise with government authorities and stay informed of relevant regulations.
17. Manage security shifts professionally and responsibly.
18. Perform any other duties as assigned, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a 5-star hotel in a similar role is desirable.
• Health and Safety courses are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Risk assessment, hygiene, and health & safety experience.
