Bannister Automotive Group is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager for Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack in Chilliwack, BC. Lead a sales team, coach staff, and drive performance to meet targets in a dynamic automotive showroom environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and coach the Sales team to meet individual and department targets.
• Monitor inventory, sales inquiries, and lead follow-up across platforms.
• Guide team members on customer service, sales processes, and performance tracking.
• Attend and contribute to sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Maintain a clean, professional showroom and uphold dealership sales standards.
• Build lasting relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and referrals.

The Drive Ahead

• Support and coach the Sales team to meet individual and department targets

Performance Essentials

• 2+ years of automotive sales experience (leadership experience is an asset)
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and customer-first mindset
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Full-time availability - typically Monday to Friday (approx. 40 hours/week) with weekends as needed
