Job summary

Bannister Automotive Group in Kamloops is seeking a Detailer/Lot Attendant to wash, inspect, and present vehicles for showroom quality. You’ll keep the lot organized, apply branding, and help with vehicle movements and trades while maintaining clean work areas. This full-time role requires a valid license and ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to bend, crouch and lift.
• Experience with vehicle detailing processes is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with a clear abstract; ability to drive manual and automatic.
• Full-time availability — typically Monday to Friday (≈40 hours/week).

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, and polish vehicles to a showroom‑ready standard.
• Inspect vehicles for damage and report findings to management.
• Organize and maintain the lot, ensuring vehicles are properly displayed.
• Apply dealership branding to vehicles and ensure fuel levels are ready for delivery.
• Assist with vehicle movement, dealer trades, and inventory organization.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist with light groundskeeping as needed.
