Job summary

Realstar in Kelowna, BC, is seeking an Assistant Resident Manager for a two-person team to join our on-site housing program. The role includes managing common areas, coordinating leasing, and delivering excellent resident service, with a four-day workweek, alternate weekends, and on-call evenings.

You will live on-site in an apartment suite (taxable benefit) with base pay of $45,000 per person, plus annual bonuses and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management is an asset.
• Professional appearance is required.
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS) is needed.
• Ability to perform general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs for duties.
• Basic computer/keyboard skills and good written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas of the property (hallways, stairwells, amenities).
• Perform minor maintenance repairs and troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare vacant suites for new residents.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospective residents.
• Assist with leasing suites.
• Respond to on-call requests.

Realstar is currently seeking an Assistant Resident Manager 2-Person Team. These roles come with the opportunity to live on-site, with a schedule that includes four weekdays, every other weekend, and occasional on-call evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning common areas of property (hallways, stairwells, amenities)
• Minor maintenance repairs and troubleshooting
• Preparing vacant apartment suites for new residents
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents
• Assisting with leasing suites
• Responding to on-call requests

Qualifications

• Previous or similar property management experience (an asset)
• Display a professional/presentable appearance
• Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS)
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairs
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, items could include garbage bins, furniture, appliances or while performing snow removal duties, sometimes for extended periods of time
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
