What you can expect to do here:
You will support Project Managers in delivering civil engineering projects, ensuring coordination among teams, clients, municipalities, and contractors.
You will prepare and manage key project documentation, including reports, transmittals, and change orders, while tracking schedules and project performance.
You will facilitate stakeholder engagement, secure permits and approvals, and ensure compliance with WSP’s Quality Management System.
You will assist with invoicing, financial tracking, KPIs, PSRs, and project controls to maintain efficiency and accountability.
You will support construction coordination, resolve issues, and monitor implementation to keep projects on track.
You will adapt to multiple projects and teams, embrace new tools, and learn client-specific systems like Toronto’s PTP and Halton Region’s CCMS
What You’ll Bring To WSP
- A diploma or degree in engineering, environmental sciences, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, contract administration, or design/construction support for municipal infrastructure and water/wastewater projects.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks to meet deadlines and client expectations.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with MS Project and Primavera P6.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, paired with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from senior staff
