Job Title: Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction
Location:OC & LA
Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:
We are a fast-growing general contractor specializing in ground-up multifamily construction projects ranging from mid-rise podium developments to garden-style communities. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to quality, we’re looking to expand our team with passionate, detail-oriented professionals.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in the successful execution of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through close-out. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily project coordination and administration

  • Maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders

  • Help develop and track project schedules and budgets

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants

  • Support the procurement process and material tracking

  • Conduct site walks and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Help prepare monthly pay applications and project reporting

  • Attend project meetings and assist in resolving field and design issues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of construction experience, preferably in multifamily

  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, and MS Office Suite

  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
