Qualifications

• 1-3 Jahre Erfahrung in der Unterstützung von Projektlieferungen.
• Verständnis aktueller Baupraktiken und Branchenzertifikate wie CAPM oder LEED sind von Vorteil.

Responsibilities

• Kommunikationsverbindung zwischen Projektmanager und Stakeholdern.
• Unterstützung bei der Verwaltung von Zeitplänen und Erstellung von Berichten.

Your role
We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team based in Central Ontario!
In this role, you’ll support experienced project managers and get the opportunity to sharpen your skills on a diverse range of projects varying in scope and complexity across Central Ontario. You will grow your project management skills by contributing to projects in commercial buildings, social organizations, schools, water and wastewater, and Indigenous communities.

Responsibilities

• Act as a communication link between the Project Manager, client, and other stakeholders
• Support Project Managers by managing schedule updates, maintaining project controls, developing progress reports, and preparing tender and contract documents
• Ensure project activities align with Colliers Project Leaders’ Quality Management System
• Attend project meetings, document action items and key decisions, and share with the team
• Provide relief support to other Assistant Project Managers or Project Managers as needed

Qualifications

• A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years’ experience supporting project delivery in construction, engineering, or architecture, including summer work terms, co-op programs, or internships
• Understanding of current construction practices
• Industry certifications like CAPM, LEED are assets but not required
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, eager to learn and contribute
• Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel
