Prairie Co-operative in Fort Qu''Appelle, SK is hiring an Assistant Produce Manager for a permanent Full-Time role at our Food Centre. The position includes leading scheduling, coaching staff, and driving store performance while ensuring safety and policy adherence.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in retail with supervisory experience, Grade 12 preferred, and a valid Class 5 license. The role may offer relocation considerations and PME/First Aid certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in retail and/or customer service with supervisory experience.
• Grade 12 preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid Class 5 driver''s license.
• Ability to acquire PME certification, Foodwise, and First aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional level of customer service and maintain a safe and efficient operation while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and standards, including meeting established productivity standards.
• Provide leadership to the team through scheduling and assigning work, coaching and motivating.
• Responsible for recruitment, training and development of employees with the assistance of the Fresh Food Manager.
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager with the administration and achievement of budgeted department goals and financial targets.
• Assist the Fresh Food Manager by providing support in brand initiatives.
• Coordinate and supervise all applicable company policies and procedures.
