Job summary

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the Student Produce Clerk (After School, Weekends, Holidays) at our Food Store location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, you will provide legendary customer service, stock and display Produce, and ensure FIFO and freshness.

  • Receive and unload freight; store Produce correctly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department.
  • Follow Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations.

Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, responsibilities for the position include the following:
  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives with a strong customer-focused approach.
  • Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Stock and display products with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation.
  • Monitor code dates and product quality to ensure the freshest inventory is on the shelf; follow first in, first out (FIFO).
  • Prepare ready-to-eat produce products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records.
  • Receive product and unload freight, ensuring produce is correctly stored.
  • Maintain a clean and organized department.
  • Support and follow Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices.
  • Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
  • Familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices.
  • Flexible work schedule, including after school, weekends, and holidays.
