Job summary

Lush North America is hiring a Temporary Assistant Manager to support the Shop Manager for a 1-year contract and drive sales while leading a busy retail team across Canada and the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years managing or supervising in a retail environment.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Strong customer service, supervisory and sales skills.
• Knowledge and interest in skincare, natural beauty and ethical business.
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the shop including holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support Shop Manager and act as second-in-command.
• Exceed daily sales goals while delivering exceptional customer experience.
• Educate customers on brand values and ethical practices.
• Lead staff on the floor, remove obstacles and motivate to meet targets.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and coaching with the Manager.
• Grow talent through development and performance feedback.
