Job summary

MLSE Partnership is seeking a hands-on Food & Beverage leader to drive front-of-house excellence at our Toronto venues. You will lead service teams, uphold quality, safety, and profitability, and coach Supervisors to deliver world‑class hospitality aligned with MLSE standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in hospitality or events, strong communication, and experience with sponsorship and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in hospitality, events or experiential marketing.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners.
• Understanding of sponsorship and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• MS Office proficiency; Photoshop/Illustrator a plus.
• Knowledge of sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

• Support a service team in the front-of-house area of the restaurant.
• Provide leadership and direction by handling standards of quality, service, safety, and profit for the restaurant.
• Coach, train, develop, and empower the Supervisors and front-of-house Service teams.
• Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock.
• Assist in expediting food orders to the dining room.
• Resolve order discrepancies quickly and effectively.
• Supervise the floor during service; respond to customer concerns.
• Ensure closing duties are completed in an accurate manner.
• Document service issues and resolutions.
• Assist with the development of business plans and implement strategies in compliance with the approved plan.
• Ensure compliance with all related regulations such as those pertaining to Health & Safety and AGCO.
• Carry out administrative functions pertaining to hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counselling and discipline.
• Adhere to MLSE service standards, policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Lead by example in team management and development, utilizing a “one team” approach; ensure departmental integrity and winning vision are intact.
